I am getting the message: "Could not create Java Virtual Machine" when trying to install Java, followed by error 1603. I am using Windows 10. There is no Java to uninstall, nor a Java Control Panel. I've tried things suggested online like increasing the value/memory of the system variable (_JAVA_OPTIONS) to no avail. Please can anyone help! It used to work (on Windows 10) but suddenly stopped. I originally got a message: "Java Platform SE binary has stopped working". I don't have a restore point to go back to! Thanks
