Hotmail And Btintertnet Accounts

I usually email using a hotmail account. However I have found sometimes when replying to a website on line, i.e. using their 'contact us' box, the sent email does not show on my hotmail sent list. I suspect it might go via my btinternet email which I never use and can no longer access. Any ideas??

It's not going via your email. It's going via their 'contact us' facility. The message may be stored for viewing on their site

FF has beat me to it - you're not contacting them via your email, you're simply contacting them via their online messaging service.
They might reply to you by email (which is why you possibly think that you're contacting them via email), but that's only because you'll have given an email address when you fill the form in.
Just to prove this is actually the case, try logging out of all your email accounts and then try and contact them - you'll still be able to contact them, as you're not using your email, so you don't need to be logged in ;)
