Hi Sqad
Today was the day. I saw a specialist privately about my ongoing saga. To cut a long story short, he has diagnosed, after tests, that I have menieres in my left ear and that I have BPPV in my right ear. He performed an epley on me and needs me to go back for more tests. He is also referring me for a mri and asking my gp to test me for polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Basically with the tests he did, my balance in left ear is f*cked. I kept turning to the left. My hearing is down and tinnitus bad.
I feel a little happier having seen him as he says there are things he can do to help, such as injection in ear etc. He was disgusted with Lincoln, that they had discharged me and told me it was a virus.
So, still getting dizzy, still of balance, really bad tinnitus, crap hearing, good days and bad..that's where we are at - at the moment.

Bad luck having a different diagnosis in each ear.
BPPV in your right ear is no big deal and should be helped by Brandt-Daroff exercises.......Google them.
The left ear is going to be the problem....the one with Menieres Sydrome.
Thanks for the feedback....much appreciated.
You couldn't give me the name of your Specialist....no problem if you would rather not.

Jumping in here...uninvited :) Just wanted to say I have Menieres disease, diagnosed 22 years ago, I have lost all hearing in my left ear and it's not too brilliant in my right ear. I also have tinnitus constantly. I take serc now every day and it has kept the bad attacks at bay. No more dizzy spells, sickness or loss of balance.
Wishing you well creamegg.

I have Googled him scrutinised his qualifications and he is the "real deal."
As I mentioned, i am happy with the diagnosis and now we must evaluate the treatment and management of your condition over the ensuing months.
You have been a challenging and interesting case.
