Exciting Rugby Players

On my way home tonight, I took a short cut through the lobby of the Thistle Hotel (now renamed The Waterfront) ... as you do.

And it's full of huge guys in shorts and blue tops, all with bare feet.

It turns out it's the Samoa rugby team. They are all staying there. Apperently they are playing the US this weekend (yes, I might've stopped just for a quick chat!)

ah. Manu Samoa, they tonked the poor Welsh team a few World Cups back, didn't they? And I once saw them run the Scots off their feet too. Athletic people when they work on it (though the ones in American Samoa are said to be the world's obesest).
