This was essential viewing in my house in the 60's...the whole family were glued to the TV every Sunday tea time, even Dad, although he always said it was "just daft"....he never missed an episode though !

Four Feather Falls, the 1st Gerry Anderson production to use 'Supermarionation'
It was not Anderson's 1st production though, that was 'The Adventures of Twizzle' 1957, which was followed by 'Torchy the Battery Boy' 1961.

Chalkie the white Golliwog was one of the first victims of being banned as racist. I remember there was quite a fuss about it at the time.

I was only about 5-6 Eddie and most kids I knew had a Golliwog, so I can't recall any fuss at the time.

I loved my Golliwog, until one of the eyes came off and my little brother nearly swallowed it.... It disappeared after that !

I know. Always far more of a Captain Scarlet fan than Thunderbirds, my Nan knitted cardies for me and my brother with the ring pull zip, mine was red so I was Captain Scarlet and he had the Captain Blue one!
