For a while now I’ve found that the comments facility Disqus won’t load. I’m using Firefox (up to date) on XP. Have checked the various plugin/add-on options but Disqus appears not to be covered. Any suggestions?

Stuck! Done all of that - even a full scan - and Disqus still doesn't load.
Does it work if you try using a different browser? e.g Opera, http://www.opera.com
I just got straight on with F'fox at this address (if it's the right one!) -

https://disqus.com/

I don't pretend to know how it all works, but are you linked to Disqus via FB, Twitter or email (as it suggests on the front page)? Perhaps signing out there first then trying again might do it?

Disqus loads in Chrome but it’s a browser I don’t use – too slow on my system.

Don’t know if I’m linked via FB etc, but after today’s scan and clearing cookies/cache I had to sign back into those anyway. Still no joy.
My need to use Disqus is very limited so I might just have to bite the bullet and use Chrome if I want to comment on something. Frustrating to have to do that though.
Do any of the included links here offer any assistance? -

Interesting. The FAQ was one of the first places I visited – didn’t solve the problem I’m afraid. However, just followed your link to the Disqus website and all I get is a blank page, with no messages to indicate an error. Effectively the page DOES load – it’s just blank.
Odd. Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? -

The other option might be to try "Refresh Firefox" -

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

If you try the 2nd option, please READ CAREFULLY (important!) exactly what is saved & what is removed. When I've used this option, I have to find & re-install all my Extensions & re-input all the settings for them, so have notes to remind me how to return F'fox to the way I like it.

Of course, being able to access the site without a problem means I can't try to work through it under the conditions you have - hopefully someone else will see this & be able to suggest further things to try.

Sorry I can't be of more immediate assistance.
