London? If I never have to go near it again I'll be happy. My parents took me when I was 10 to 'see the sights'; then I took a group to see the Monet 'Series' exhibition in the 1990s; since then I've been to visit Mr. J2's daughter who lives in N. London and she insisted on us going into the place. I did enjoy the National Portrait Gallery.
Dreadful place. As representative of UK as Paris is of France. Hate it.
I enjoy London if I'm going to there to watch tennis, go to a good restaurant or to the theatre. I wouldn't want to live there. My son is soon to move there for work. His rent is ridiculous. I'm not sure how he is going to live, TBH.
Fender, if you mean accents, I agree. My OH comes from London. He and his old friends sound nothing like the London youngsters we see on TV now, with their fake-sounding Jamaican patois, or whatever it is meant to be.
