Annoying Phone Calls From British Gas

I don't have an account with British Gas but years ago I gave my mobile number on one occasion to assist my relative's bill issues. Now everytime my relative bills are due they keep calling my number despite written complaint and explainations are made asking them to remove my number from their system, but calls still persist on a daily basis. I have recently made a log of dates and times calls are made and seriously thinking of getting legal advice. Can I get a legal letter written to them and what would the cost be?.

I'm grateful for any advice.

Perhaps if your relative asked for your number to be removed - British Gas may be ignoring it as your name is not the account holders name.

@Tuvok, Makes no difference. I've written to them on behalf of my relative and I asked them countless times, each time they apologised and assured me that my number will be removed, but calls are still coming in.

but do begin them Sam you idle tasser - you get letters sent to your home because your staff are too idle .....

Daily calls are indeed harassment, I'd get serious with them.

Send them an invoice for your time. This chap did and got paid.
