Just heard on the lunchtime news that Camelot are to add another 10 numbers to the lotto in October, in order, they say, to create bigger rolling jackpots. The current odds of winning are 14,000,000/1, so, with an extra 10 numbers, that jackpot will become even more illusive. I know there are quite a few on these pages who do not play and there are just as many who ceased playing when the tickets were increased to £2, but i just wonder how many of you will stop playing come October? I certainly will.
Whilst on this subject is it only me being sceptical regarding the volume of rollovers recently there seems to have been far more since they increased the price of the tickets, not even revenue perhaps!
Sounds unlikely to me. We've just had 2 maximum rollovers in a few weeks. And why would they have set a limit on rollovers if they wanted more of them?
The odds of winning a jackpot will go from 14 million to one to 47 million to one camelot must think we are all stupid, I for one will stop playing, lets hope that people leave in droves that will teach the greedy bars****s a lesson
