/// Leaders in Germany and other European states say they are prepared to award asylum to legitimate refugees from countries such as Syria, Iraq and Eritrea, but they are issuing more strident warnings that they will reject many of the economic migrants streaming over their borders. ///
That is when all hell will break loose, when they announce to the hordes, those who will be sent back.
That is of course if they ever send them back, I can't see it myself.
For all those Eurosceptics, it's probably a good thing that the UK's referendum on leaving the EU is still a couple of years away. Between now and then, does anyone think this is really going to be resolved effectively? The EU is getting less of a U by the day.
I was going to say "I hope not", but I'm not really sure now. The EU's response to the migrant/ refugee crisis has been nothing short of awful, and certainly far from united.
