my dad, step-mum and aunty realy want to start a wedding shop business in the north west selling both bride and groom clothes.
they have had numerous talks together about how to go about starting it, but they don't have that 'umf', that kick start. my dad has said they need to put together a business plan- but its just not happening any time soon...

could someone tell me roughly the step by step guide to starting a business, thanks.

Business Link were really helpful and supportive when i started up in business. there is so much to think about that you need someone to guide you. they have New Business managers who are at the end of the phone when you need them.
Good luck to them - its hard work !
