how to remove ink stains from dining chair

i have some blue ink stains on dining chair. the material on dining chair is thicker than cotton. can anyone please suggest how i can get rid of the ink stains please. many thanks baljit

You can buy a product in any supermarket (usually in the washing powder section) called Stain Devils. They do one for ink stains, although I've never used that particular one so I don't know how good it will be.

If the ink is from a pen hairspray is excellent for removing that type of ink, try on a small area. Good luck hope this helps.

if the ink is from a ball point pen use methylated spirit or if its a fountain pen or felt try milk or those white pens that erase fountain pen
