Yes, in 1995 Tracy suffered kidney failure after a drug induced coma.

"Ken, it's Tracey's kidneys. They've failed and she'll have to go on dialysis, for 4 hours a day, three times a week, FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE!' They obviously don't film that bit of her day.

I think Mr Rashid (can't remember his 1st name) was supposed to donate a kidney to her but died an the very same night.
It was a magic kidney.
samir???They just don't show the check-ups,like none of the characters use the loo in their own homes either, only in the pub!!
Its not a documentary you know - they make it up.
No,,,,,,really,,,,,i'd never have guessed,,wow,,,thats great!!!

and they all go to Roys Rolls or the pub for lunch - WHEN THEY LIVE IN THE SAME ROAD!!!
Happy to be of assistance electricblue.
They did mention it when she was pregnant - they said it was ok to have one child but not anymore

She did have the transplant from Samir so doesn't dialyse any more. In real life she'd be having 3 monthly check ups and no , they don't show that , they never show her taking her meds either , and there was no great palaver when she had Amy (which there would have been). She also doesn't have the round face and plumpness associated with a transplant patient (because of the steroids they have to take). It annoys me a bit to be honest but, yes , it is only fiction.
