Bt Infinity Broadband/iphone 6+
3 Answers
Not sure how to word the problem in the shortest way. But basically, have BT Infinity tv/phone/broadband package, for over a year, everything fine! Speed wise, compatible with iPhone 6+ and daughters iPhone 5s
And it MAY just be coincidental, but since I updated and installed IOS9
The Internet connection is rubbish! Even when I'm at home next to the router, I get no emails, then suddenly get 16 all in one go!! S l o w and seems to constantly searching for a connection!
I've been 'talked through' the re setting procedure via BF call centre. And assured that my broadband connection is very high. But you'd think that with Infinity AND iPhone 6+ that it would be bloody amazing!
. It's rubbish again today and I'm totally sick of paying for a service I'm not getting!
I've re set it again myself today, but it's very hit and miss. :(
Any ideas would be welcomed, BT just go down the road of blaming things at my end! Thanks for any advice. X

It's possible your iPhone is switching from your Home BTHub3/ 4/ or5**** to BTWifi- with- Fon or BTWifi-X. These 2 slower networks are for other BT users and that's why BT say they have Millions of free Wi-fi spots! On your phone's Settings/ then Wifi check if your BTHub**** is showing; or is it one of the free wifis. If it's the latter then click on it and click...

On your phone's Settings/then Wifi check if your BTHub**** is showing; or is it one of the free wifis. If it's the latter then click on it and click Forget This Network.
Go back to Settings click on Wifi to choose your BTHomeHub****
I can't think of another reason your wifi is slow but there has been an update to iOS9, iOS9.0.1, which might help you.

Thank you jomlett!!! I just did as you suggested, I actually always wondered why BT WiFix and wifi with fon kept popping up as an unsecured network!
I assumed it was my next door neighbours or something? (You'll have gathered I'm not that technically minded! Ha!)
I shall keep an eye on it and see how it goes
However even though I've clicked 'Foget this network' they are still showing?
Is that standard?
