I seem to recall that there are a few people here (such as Caran, Seekerz, Butterbun & Svejk) who like to try the non-cryptic crosswords that I compile for the guys in the pub. It's ages since I did one but there's a new one available if anyone's interested.
To download it, go here
http://tinyurl.com/oucbjvj
click on the big green button and then on 'crossword7.pdf'.
The answers are there as well (as 'answer7.pdf') but it's so easy that I doubt that you'll need them ;-)
I've downloaded the PDFs thingy, I got to the page where all the crosswords are listed. Clicked on to today's one and it will not open. I will save it until we get home and I can perhaps do it from my laptop. I can only print emails from my iPad. Thanks for info re PDF.
You shouldn't have any problems from your laptop. (I always test my links before posting them and others here seem to have no problems. iPads seem to be excellent for some things but lousy for others!)
Feedback for Mamyalynne:
I gave my crossword to one of the guys (who's fairly good at crosswords) in the pub at 7.15pm yesterday. He was joined by another friend (who's really good at crosswords) at 7.25pm. They didn't finish it until 8.15pm (and that was with a few nudges from me!), so your 'half hour, including a brew', on your own, now looks amazing!
I'm a bit late (very late) with a feedback but was done with my daughter. I always learn something new from your crosswords and with this one it was the family of mathematicians, the Bernoulli family. I'd never heard of them before. (Now, don't laugh) so for that I thank you. I looked it up on wiki. Thank you.
