firstly if it is a ford specail shape hole in the facia you will need to get an adaptor, basicly it fills some of the big hole to leave a hole the correct size for most aftermarket stereos.
secondly, the wiring needs an adaptor loom. this changes fords wiring connector to the connector your new stereo needs.
the shop that sold you your stereo may have these. otherwise try halfords they ussually carry a large stock of these.
if there was an aftermarket stereo fitted you will probably have to disconect the wiring adaptor from the ford loom. ( put it with the old stereo if your selling it )
