How do I changed my bios settings, using XP SMART is disabled, would like to enable it.

You can't alter the BIOS settings using Windows XP, you must access the setup screen when the computer first boots up. Usually you will be prompted (eg press del or F2) during the POST (power on, self test) phase to get to the BIOS setup pages. I don't think SMART enabled hard disks are that much better than SMART disabled (the default setting).
