How can a cassette tape be burned to CD?

Thanks sandyroe, unfortunately my only cassette player is in my car since my OCD son had a clear out. (Wish kids would leave my stuff & bunker off). Will search for replacements but thanx.

Thanx jomfli (predictive txt 'jingling')! Nephews want me to record their gdads (my dad) band to CD so it's gotta be quality.

They aren't rubbish, and you can clean up the recording with 'Audacity'. They are cheap enough to try anyway and simple enough to use.

If you want a good quality tape player you will have to pay about £50 on Ebay for a decent one as new tape players as included in boomboxes and music centres are probably no better that the tape copier shown above.

Tambo. We covered this before and jomifl's advice worked fine for me, I recommend you go with it. But I'm trying to remember 'Granddad's' music, - a famous dance-band as I remember ?
