Good morning, I have recently bought one of these which has a grill, oven and microwave facility. What it doesn't have however is a pre-set function for Jacket potatoes, the handbook is pretty much useless so does any one have any ideas to get that 'normal oven' type finish from the microwave?

Thanks in advance

Jacket potatoes vary so much in size you can't have one program for them.
Microwave til they start to feel slightly 'soft' ( 15 to 20 mins I find) then 200 C oven cook. You need to experiment a bit til you find the correct method.
Once you know it should work every time as long as you stick to the same size spuds.
I usually cook about six potatoes at a time. 180 degrees in the oven for approx 1hour 15 mins. Don't preheat. Then refrigerate jackets they last about 3-4 days. If you start them in the microwave as suggested just reduce cooking time by the same amount of time.
