What was the name of this ship?

What was the name of the American ship that had a big accident with a missile during the Vietnam war? I think it was an aircraft carrier and over 100 sailors died. Any ideas? Thanks.

Neon strip lights: cheaper to leave on or turn on/off regularly?

I was told that it's dearer to just switch a strip light on, than run it for eight hours. Is this true? Does it use more electricity turning it on than leaving it on for a long time? Any experts out...
