not goo sound

i have a mark 4 astra but when it gets up to temp it starts makin a dry grinding noise from round the belt area its not the alternator bearings cos i changed the alternator today just cant pin point...

been set up

i was beaten up on the way home from the pub one night by 4 blokes. the next day i went to a&e because my eye lid cut bad, after that went to make a statement at police station, didnt hear anything...
