electrical problems with C22CDi

My CAT D MErc C220CDi seems to be very temprimental with the electrics, is there anything i can do apart from take it to a merc garage?

catagory D write off

I just bought a car privatly without a HPI. I was a bit worried about it and now have HPI'd it to find out is was CAT D write off. Do I have any come back on previous seller for not telling me??
