Print screen/screen capture of DVD movie

I play my dvd's through windows media player, but when I do a screen print, it does not capture the scene. How can I do this? Is it possible? Is there a special bit of software to do this?

Does anyone know of any software that can be used when using your PC to capture a video of your on screen actions? Kind of in a similar to way to the 'Print Screen' button?
