Can any one tell me if the answers are consecutive letters which anagram to give a tree or are we supposed to over write consecutive letters with a tree? For example, the answer to 15ac is REP(AINT)....

Cornering movement catching no coppers at first (14)? I cannot work out from the cryptic clue whether "s" or "z" should be used in the answer : mo (no poli s/z a) tion. ie "motion" for movement around...
NZ great to visit, despite distance? No worries to date (11)? "So far so good" solves this clue apart from the word count which I would have expected to be (2,3,2,4) instead of (11).
