New Cockerel

Hi, We have 4 hens that are 24 weeks old ( 2 x Pekins and 2 x Cochins) we are thinking about getting a cockerel to join them he's only 13 weeks old though. Do you know if he's settle in ok with him...

Can anybody tell me at what age Cockerals tend to start crowing and at what age hens start to lay, mine are approx 18 weeks old and no sign of eggs or a crowing Cockeral! Thanks
