Fiesta mk5 only 20,000miles old and using three times fuel.

I have a fiesta 1.25 16v zetec mk5 2000 with 20,000 miles. But im using just to much fuel and driving like my 95 year old great granfather to save money. I know a lot about cars theres a slight blow...
