who writes like john grishan....

love to read his stuff every now and then but was disappointed with The Broker....want to try someone who writes stuff like A Time to Kill and The Client etc ...any suggestions?

any way to capture text on tv programing???

is there any way to capture text on tv programs on videotape or dvd....? also ....why is it that most of the freebie dvds in the newspapers dont have subtitles? Is it that difficult/expensive to do...

I think the ad company got this wrong... an ugly metal monster and smug driver belittling the eskimo(inuit?) on sledge ....so out of place....! what do you think?

panasonic car radio clock ...how to set it

got a second hand car with a panasonic radio/tape player in it...the clock is now 1 hour 13 minutes fast... cant work out how to change it.... have tried more than a few times....anybody know?

Msgsrv32 is the error i get ...why ...how can i fix it

ears ringing ....why?

Recently my ears ring when I bend over to tie shoes/ pick up somehting off floor ....the ringing can last for hours and sometimes a day or two.... anyone else ever get this?

start ie 6 wont work..start opera wont work...restart ie6 and it works!!! why?

Can anyone explain this situation.... I try to connect with ie6 and it just goes dead....then I try Opera (on the same connection) it says connection refused!...then I click Opera shut and then go...

Cant access desktop in win2000 to burn slideshow

I am newbie to win2000 and have much stuff on the desktop ....even my documents folder....problem is that when I want to burn some slideshows I have in this folder I cannot access it !! I have clicked...

firefox and opera keep getting connection refused!!!!

Am using ms browsing software but want to try out firefox and opera....but each time I try to connect with them I keep getting connection refused box on screeen ....why is that?

microsoft toolbar pop up blocker makes connecting difficult...help!

When I use the ms internet toolbar(downloaded) and pop ups are allowed I can connect first time ....but if it is activated it takes me ages to get a good connection....question is....by allowning pop...

Made in 1963 stars Richard Widmark (I think) in a viking adventure in search of a giant golden bell...finds it in the end ....and it has been disguised as a dome of a church ...can anyone help?
