Can anyone tell me the best way (or program to use) to make an icon from a jpeg file. I naively thought if you resized a jpeg to 32x32 pixel and gave it a .ico file extension it would work but it...

Folder views (XP)

When I open 'My Photos' I like to see it in thumbnail view but every time I close it & re-open it defaults to details view. Is it possible to keep this view without making all my folders have...
