Screen brightness.

The brightness on the screen of my laptop is very dim. I assume it might be some kind of power saving but i have not to my knowledge changed anything, But other members of my family borrow it...

Been phoning several antiques, no one willing to buy it. Any idea where else i can sell it? Apart from eBay, gumtree, etc.
