Wireless Broadband Connection

I've just installed wireless broadband on laptop at home and now need to make laptop wireless compatible. I don't know whether I should buy a wireless USB adapter or a wireless "card". Any ideas...

Can anyone recommend a good way to go about getting a cleaner ? I don't want to answer an ad in the local shop as you just don't know who people are these days. Any advice ?
