Transfering XD card to CD

Is there anywhere in Manchester or London where I can transfer the contents of an XD card to a CD? I'll be travelling and don't want to carry my laptop with me.

Downloading music to an ipod

I am having difficulties downloading my music library from my Toshiba satellite pro (basic model bought this year) to my new Ipod using the apple connector lead .I am new to this !!

I?ve tried to clear my ipod memory, but it says about 16gb still there! Why i wanted to erase the files was because some of them had been damaged. So, here i am unable to update it from itunes due...
