I've emailed the Guardian/Observer crossword editor, Lynn Brannan expressing my disappointment that there is still no crossword on line. Hopefully it will appear soon!

Is it acceptable for people to ask for help with prize crosswords? If they can't solve a clue, don't you think they should refrain from entering? Surely any prize should go to someone who can actually...
One left: 15 across: "This opens in composition ...as in opera maybe?" I have "?ria", so it must be "aria", I think, but I've no idea why. Can anybody explain, please......or offer a better solution?...
