Today whilst in ibooks looking around, a box opened up with the option to Sync notes, docs etc but I chose to decline. Will this option pop up again. Have looked in settings but don't know where...

I've just lost the sign on the bottom of my computer

It's the sign in the bottom right hand corner that looks like a speaker. I clicked on it to listen to Ratters clip and it disappeared. How do I get it back. In language for technophobes please.
