recovery disc

if you use the recovery disc on windows xp to return system to factory settings ( i presume) would you then have the option to partition the HD again?

Hard drive upgrade

I intend installing a 2nd bigger hard drive to my pc, as I only have 1.90 gig left on "C" drive & 13 Gig on "D", when installed will the new drive appear as a seperate drive or will it intigrate...
