why does my boiler bang alot when heating up the water, especially when its coming up to temp

why douse my boiler bang a lot when it is heating up the water ???? it only douse this when it is about to come to the right water temp

my gas boiler bangs a lot when it heates the water up just befor it cuts out when it is up to temp and not at the beginning of heatup
