I love Irish music. Is there such a thing as english music?

What I mean is that Irish music dates back a few hundred years and if there is a band playing Irish in the pub they will play a mixture old instrumentals and songs with lyrics but most of these songs...

Why don't ticketmaster just tell you if a gig is sold out?

Why is it that when you go onto ticketmaster to look to book tickets for a gig it takes you through the whole process of choosing how many tickets you want and entering the two words only to be told...

Why is there glass in the volcanic ash?

It says that the ash coming from the volcano in Iceland contains glass. Is this the result of some sort of chemical combination or how does it come to be in it?
