HELP! Toddler banged mouth, looks like part of lip is stuck between teeth?

My 17 mth old has banged his mouth on a toy and his lip is swollen slightly at the top. I dont know if I'm being paranoid or not but it looks slightly different and his top frenulum looks like it is...
