03 mondeo electric seat problem

My drivers seat is stuck on the highest position and is no longer moving. The motor is activated by the switch but not going up or down. Not a good driving position at moment.

External temp display.

The outside temp reading is shown in F. I can't seem to be able to change to Celcius. There is a push button next to the dial but this does nothing. I assume you can change it or why would the button...
