Dirty Dirty Bowl

My new house has a dirty limescale ring around the water level in the toilet bowl. I have tried coke I have tried bleach , caustic soda, and various proprietry cleanser, before I go nuclear are there...

I'm considering damp-proofing my cellar by the tanking method. Has anyone ever done it? Is it messy? What about cost? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

House Repossession

I have today been notified that steps will be taken by my Building Society to repossess my home owing to non payment of the mortgage. This situation has arisen through basically 3 years unemployment....
