Packaging - urgh

Seriously I am having such difficulty with packaging these days it is driving me mad. I know things are supposed to be childproof but it's ridiculous. I can hardly open anything and get so frustrated...

When a washing machine is delivered to the door, who does the packaging belong to? Can I insist that it is not unpacked?
