dvd drive

chuckfickens thanks. if i click on start then computer,it shows removable disk(E). if i then click on that,it tells me to insert a disk even tho one is inserted???? thanks again

dvd rom drive

when i insert a cd or dvd into my drive,nothing happens and the disc is not recognised. any suggestions? it is a packard bell using windows vista. please help
