is it safe to bring a new pup home 6 months after parvo pup died ?

Is it safe to bring a new puppy home 6 months after i lost one to parvovirus. The new pup will have had it's 1st injection ! will this be enough or sholud i wait till he's had all his jabs ?????

Hamster bugs...

I just cleaned out my hamster and the food bag was absolutely crawling with little black crawling things, which I'm pretty sure are weevils. Anyway, I'm not sure if there were any in my hamsters food...
