Car "racing" noise

What is the noise that sounds like a car is racing when turned on? Mine has started doing that. It feels like it wants to jump ahead even when I put the brake on.

Why does the air con in my car smell 'damp? after a while the smell clears and all is ok.

Pinking Noises

My car has recently developed a rather annoying rattling noise which I only hear with the windows down, it's like a bunch of keys rattling whenever I accelerate especially up hills, I was convinced...
