Whats the noise?

I'm using my new laptop today but it keeps making a whiring noise ever couple of minutes. Is this normal? My computer at home doesn't do this.

Light bulbs

Is the 20watt low energy bulb as good as it gets. I currently have a 150watt bulb in my room and find the 100 watt equivelent just not bright enough. Unless anyone knows of a really good bright low...

Hand Cream

When I use hand cream my skin usually goes red and tingles for about 5 minutes so I guess I am allergic to either lanolin or glycerine which is present in most creams.I have tried nearly all of them...
