Sony camcorder 106 E,unable to connect to my computer

Dear folks, I bought a sony camcorder 106 E,dvd recorder.I am trying to connect to my computer,I have installed it s CD but on my camcorder LCD screen it says 'connecting..Do not unplug the USB cable'...
