compress a dvd

I have a dvd that I have stripped away the titles and menus and stuff from but it is still 990Mb, to large to save as data on a cd. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi there Can you randomly select 5 out of 200 numbers? i tried to do it in excel using the rand() function, but evry time I want to sort by the random number column the numbers change and I cannot see...
