tapping/clicking noise on vaux astra

thanks for last reply however the tapping/clicking noise on my 1.4 16v astra only seems to make this noise during a certain temp range ie will not do it when engine is cold or is fully warm seems to...

tapping/knocking noise on 2000 vauxhall astra

sometimes have a knocking noise on my astra it sounds like it is from top of engine it does not do it all the time some one said possibly knock valve? it is a 1.4 16v any one had the same or any ideas...
