weed control

I have cleared a substantial area of my garden prior to putting down gravel. I also have half a dozen rolls of spare roofing felt, can I use these instead of the proper weed suppressant membrane ?

Night-time rainbow

Driving home the other night, with the full moon on my left I entered a light shower. Coming out of the shower, I looked right and saw what I would describe as a white rainbow. Any body else seen one...

Grouting

Have been laying ceramic tiles in my kitchen. They are quite dark and the only grout I can find is beige,which is too light. Can I add a concrete dye or is there a special grout dye ?
