You put the answers up without someone asking for them??
I saw that post, I did comment to you (not sure if you saw it), that putting up all the answers without putting a warning in the heading could spoil the crossword for people who are still working on it. Someone must have reported it, as only the Ed can pull a single post.
I may add that whilst I was slightly disparaging on your post I did not report, it is slightly frowned upon as a rule though.
I found your post quite ridiculous.............surely at least attempting to do a crossword is part of the enjoyment.

I don't understand, the late MadSteve (R.I.P) put a link up every week for
the answers of the 3 MOS comps on a Sunday.
Some people did appreciate me posting the answers. (I had printed the first 5 comments out)
My question on this site was WHY was it removed.
Toni, the difference is that was a link rather than opening the post, thinking you are going to get a question and all the answers are there on the page.
That's my interpretation too, mamya - the late madsteve only ever put up a link to the answers so people could click on it if they wanted to see it.

Poortony's were all there in your face, before you realised that this wasn't just another answer request, which is why I commented that it would have been better to put "Answers" in his heading.

Tony, Ed must have considered that you were spoling the fun for others - why don't you email him, if you feel it's unfair.

I wondered that too, Trim.

I print out everything, Crosswords, posting etc., habit ~ cost me a fortune
in Inkjets and paper (sad isn't it)

Not to worry I shall not post them again on this site.
Have you completed the 'Flounce Announce'?

You'll probably have printed out a copy of that at some time or other....

No Jackthehat, have never heard of it.
Am off now, going for a stroll in the beautiful Glens of Antrim, just might
take the coastal route ~ then I can take some photographs of the beautiful
scenery ~ to print of course.
Bye

why would you want to print out all your postings, poortony? Even if you wanted to refer back to them, they are all here under your threads on your profile page. I don't understand why anyone would do that. Not saying you shouldn't, just curious as to why.
poortony....There is a form to 'announce a flounce'. I am not suggesting that you complete it, but I would request that you refrain from giving all the answers to a crossword.

The form to which I have made reference is available for downloading:-

Thank you Ron, but that came up blank, could be my computer, shall try it
on my laptop - actually I cannot go into my profile on my computer which is why I PRINT out.
But I shall not be putting all the answers of a crossword up on AB again, just thought it was
like other sites where one puts up the whole crossword. We learn by our
mistake, pity such a small mistake could cause such a fuss, I am so SORRY if I upset anyone.
Hope I can still be helpful.
I once posted a link to the completed Times Jumbo cryptic grid and since it was the Saturday afternoon the couple of postings I received accused me of posting it simply to show off. I have never bothered since.

Yes bibblebub I think we simpe can win, there are a lot of people on answer
bank but only a handful moaned about it. I think to myself how many actually
were happy with all the answers but said nothing.
Now I am going for a walk in the Autumn sunshine this morning, very windy last night but glad to say the slates are still on the roof (just about) then I shall come home and get stuck into the Daily Record crossword (its a stinker
today).
Hope you have a nice day.
