Good day to you AnswerBankers!

As you may have noticed we've added some links to certain words, like kindle.

And we've allowed the posting of nice videos from youtube & vimeo just by dropping the link into the page, like thus:



I've also had a bit of fun with one of the more commonly used acronyms. Give it a crack.

We also discussed gentrifying the language used on the site, changing cos => because etc. What do we think? I'm not sure if it would make the site better or not, and it might be a pain. If I get enough support I'm happy to give it a go though. If you think it's a good idea, leave me some suggestions below.

I'd also like to have a spooky thread of saturday, anyone up for that? In Chatterbank?

This is true Chuck, but I get aggressive emails, threads and cakes sent/aimed at me all the time - even when I'm not filtering something!

You can't change how people type on here as you'll be accused of being a facist; even if people that use 'yer' deserve to be shot. Several times. In their rude bits.

What sort of saturday thread? Where people tell about their experiences with ghosties ala AB's equivelent of sitting round a camp fire or one where we put up our favourite creepy bits from movies?

Nothing like square bears but could probably put up a list or two of questions on a few related themes... not busy tomorrow evening perhaps you could let the winner have a word change as a prize....

A "spell check as you type" facility would be good, if almost impossible...

It's obvious that some of our posters' spelling is impaired by the strength of their feelings or their alcohol. Perhaps it's part of the fun?
